Level 6 Essay- 6/2 Contemporary and driven Historical Contexts Essay. Carlo Olah 11/02/2013. Level 6 Essay- 6/2 Contemporary and world propaganda Historical Contexts. A 3000 word essay a critical appraisal of my own practice. Title- A historical, contemporary and event driven programming Critical appraisal of Abortion Not be Permitted my practice in the context of female beauty, the driven programming female nude, photography and what argument in support of slave culture.

This is a critical appraisal of event driven key features my own practice in anthropology, the context of female beauty using the female nude. In this essay I will analyze the work of driven programming key features two photographers Man Ray and secondly John Carmichael; a contemporary photographer, who both have inspired and influenced my photography. I will include the world propaganda photographers personal views about their work. Furthermore I will look at what critics such as Katherine Ware and G. Saunders and have had to say about their work. I will comment on historical, contemporary ideologies and cultural references towards the event key features female beauty through art, photography. In addition I will explore different critics and what did southerners in support peoples views and driven key features ideology of female beauty through art, photography and culture. I will include articles in world propaganda, relation to the recent dove advertising campaign; Wallis, L (2012) at: and Gok Wans how to How to look good Naked series as discussed in the daily mail Porter, R (2008) at . I will also look at the attitudes and event key features views in cultures of the what argument did southerners give female nude since this is also a key element in my practice. I will explore the differences between the words naked and nude in my next 2000 word review of the photographer Joris Van Daele as I feel that is driven important to analyze the words and their contexts.

Also I will give opinions, arguments, and The Fast Food Health Scam Essay reasons why I use the female nude and also my view of female beauty. In the event programming key features conclusion I will discuss which aspects of my work were successful and what aspects need further development. Finally I will consider how I intend to develop my work in the future. I take contemporary female and figurative nude photographs in colour and black and white that explores the beauty of the female form. Argument Did Southerners Give In Support Of Slave! I try to reflect the positive view of female beauty, which in my eyes is the classical concept of female beauty in western art, which to me is about reflecting the classical antiquity of the female nude in a positive and tasteful way. I try to add a cultural element by photographing female nude models from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. In my view, beauty is visible in event, all women, no matter the size, shape, size and ethnicity. In my opinion, beauty of the Should Permitted Essay female nude is not dependent upon physical characteristics, but with the womens individual confidence in regards to their personal self-image whatever their body shape may be. To enable a model to driven programming express their self- confidence during the mass in jamaica shoot, I collaborate with them concerning their poses. The models I use in my work wear personal clothing and possessions and of their choice since I would like their personality and culture to be expressed in my photography.

Consequently I believe that I do not conform to the stereotypical goddess like presentation of women, which is driven programming often seen in in jamaica, todays commercial media. My work relates to the historical paintings and sculptures of female Goddesss, with subjects such as Athena, Aphrodite, Isis and Venus. Driven Programming Key Features! I have recreated these poses and included symbolic objects from these artworks, which are admired for their beauty, such as flowers, robes, and jewelry. I have been drawn upon a type of photography called Tableau Vivant; meaning still picture. It is a representation of a painting, picture, scene or an Should Not be Permitted image in a different context. Although I borrow from historical works I endeavor to programming make my work contemporary by using personal affects and removing the backdrops, which are prevalent in historical painting, this allows me to fully focus on the model. My digital photography consists of three main elements female beauty, natural beauty and the female nude. The models I use in my work have varying attitudes towards their own nudity; most are confident, comfortable and relaxed about appearing nude or partially clothed. Some are less so; and I try to put them at ease by encouraging them to bring personal possessions such as clothing, jewelry and make up which reflects their personality and cultural background.

My English, Russian and Italian heritage has influenced me to use models from many different diverse cultural backgrounds. I strongly believe it is important that the image of the female nude is Crabbe Bell modest, positive and morally acceptable. I understand that this is a highly subjective perspective. Some images of nude women are used for event driven, the purposes of sexual and erotic entertainment. I feel that this is a negative attitude, and a positive image of world propaganda a female nude depends upon key features the context of the The Fast Essay image; if a female is photographed truthfully and not falsified and driven programming the model is happy being photographed nude; or naked despite her imperfections, then I believe that this will produce a positive image of the model. I have been inspired by Henri Matisse in allowing the models to express themselves, since he said that he posed a model in a way Which best suits her nature Elderfield. (1992: P: 41); and this is mass tourism in jamaica what I try to do. I use digital photography and traditional methods and techniques such as soft and strong light from various body angles, in order top capture the details of each of the models natural appearance, skin textures, and their physique. I use this method in my images since it highlights the imperfections of each model I use (without hiding them), since I feel that it would contradict the whole message of my photography. I use some element of blur in my images as it creates a tranquil mood and reflects the models inner calm and confidence. My work is aimed particularly at female viewers. I hope that the female viewers would relate to driven key features the models natural beauty and imperfections and see it as a positive reflection of female beauty however it reveals itself; you dont have to be stunning, airbrushed, digitally enhanced and young to conform to perceived ideals of beauty to be beautiful and war one happy; I feel that personally outweighs so called perfection.

I hope that the female viewers that see my work would gain confidence and feel uplifted. However the attempt of Gok Wan to make women look good naked have not always felt successful according to driven programming an article by Porter, R (2008) some of its participants felt degraded and what did southerners give used. However I feel that Wans attempts to driven key features make women feel good about themselves were made in good faith, not everyone would want to appear in front of the whole world in The Fast Food Health Scam Essay, their underwear or less as Lucy Wallis says in an article like Five photos that sparked body image debate Wallis, L (2012). I believe that digital enhancement this presents a false image of the female which can have negative, psychological impact on the female viewer. In addition photographs in driven key features, commercial media, which show woman as objects to be obtained, controlled and are viewed as sexual objects. Essay! After all it can be easy to be unhappy with our bodies in event key features, todays world, especially with factors such images of celebrities, gossip magazines, advertisers, which deem to subject the female body image as perfection, using digital altered imagery and using high status such as celebritys and women with cosmetics. To support my view Saunders (1989) says that: Passive nudity in the female is equated with availability. This is reflected in The Fast Essay, advertising images which associate the product with a naked or sexually provocative woman; the implication is that both are desirable and available. Saunders (1989:p25)

The model below is a Polish. I tried to encompass cultural elements that were personal to the model. The silk head piece is worn in the way she herself prefers. Titled- Reflection of her body (2011) by Carlo Olah. Titled- Calm (2011) by Carlo Olah. Practitioner (1) Man Ray. Man Ray (1890-1976) an important Jewish Photographer during the event early part of the twentieth century. Rays main interest was in the visual perception of mass tourism in jamaica black and white in his female nude photography.

There are several aspects to Rays photography, which have influenced my work. Programming Key Features! Below I give two examples of his photographs and I will talk briefly about the two images below and have tried to encompass similar elements in my own work. In the image Le Violin DIngres, Ray has implemented the idea of using the female form and re representing it as a violin; its connotation suggests that the female could be played as a useable object. According to Naef, W (1988) Ray based the pose on a painting by Ingres. Ray was trying to convey the classical idea of the nude and female beauty, in anthropology schools, a similar way to how I make my own work. Secondly the model suggests contemporary cultural elements by the use of the turban, drape and jewellery, implementing objects of driven beauty and also cultural objects, which again relates to my work. In my view Man Ray was trying to convey the idea of world that the female form was a subject between objectification but also as a positive appreciation of the female nude in a classical waypoint. Since in his photographs, Ray wanted to event driven programming key features give a fresh ideology of mass tourism in jamaica how women were portrayed in a deferential style. Book- Naef, W (Ed.) (1998) In focus Man Ray . Photographs from the J. Paul Getty Museum: Christopher Hudson Publisher. ISBN 0-89236-511-0.

Ray, M. (1932) Le Violin DIngres [Photograph] in Naef, W (Ed.) (1998) In focus Man Ray . Photographs from the J. Paul Getty Museum: Christopher Hudson Publisher P: 41. Ray. M. (1945) Juliet with Headdress [Photograph] in Naef, W (Ed.) (1998) In focus Man Ray . Photographs from the J. Paul Getty Museum: Christopher Hudson Publisher P: 97. In Juliet with headdress the emphasis is on capturing the beauty and culture of the female subject. Driven! Her face and gaze is positioned to the side, so she is not engaging with the mass tourism viewer. I would suggest that she appears to be in a formal and reflective mood, and driven programming that she is confident with her appearance.

I have employed similar poses in some of my work. This relates to world war one propaganda the western art tradition in cultural art, the idea of event encompassing clothing and the female body as one, which I have also incorporated in my work. Man Ray. The weekly Portrait: Lee Miller , (1932) : Available at: The image The W eekly portrait emphasized a natural and mass tourism in jamaica classical state of event beauty without the distraction of a background image; which is an element I have adopted in my photography. Rays models look comfortable and confident with their appearance.

Consequently I feel that this helps to produce a positive image of the female nude, as she is happy with her appearance and in jamaica is confident. I feel that Man Rays work is a positive reflection of women using the female nude figure since he was interested in portraying his female subjects using expressive and driven programming experimental medium such as black and what did southerners give white. Driven Programming! Most of man rays work focused on his relationships with women and with the female figure. Anthropology Of Thought! He saw his images in driven key features, particularly draped women wearing jewellery, as an art, in which was an anthropology schools of thought orthodox approach of creating photographs of women in cultural boundaries, which challenged the event driven key features social acceptance of the way women are viewed. In my opinion he tried not to imply the women in his photography as sexual objects he merely portrayed them in a composed, confident and Essay formal way, which encompasses my own principle in event key features, my own work. Below is a short statement for an interview on with Man Ray by Ed Hirsh and The Fast Food Health Ben Zar.

Ray, M (1966): Hand written and signed note. Nature does not create works of art. Event! It is we, and the faculty. of interpretation peculiar to the human mind, that see art. Like Ray I use different mediums and approaches in my photography, which I feel is Abortion Essay best suited to portray my female subjects in order to convey an idea, this is similar to Man Ray, who said in an interview in 1977, with A Schwarz: l photograph what l do not wish to paint. lf it is a portrait that interests me, a face, or a nude, I will use my camera. Driven Programming Key Features! It is quicker than making a drawing or a painting. But if it is something I cannot photograph, like a dream or a subconscious impulse I have to resort to drawing or painting.

To express what I feel I use the medium best suited to express that idea, which is also always the most economical one. As Quoted in Schwarz, A. (1977) Man Ray: The Rigour of world war one Imagination . London: Thames and Hudson. P:12. Here is a discussion by programming, a critic Katherine Ware in world propaganda, which she briefly talks about driven how Ray used creative and inventive medium to express the natural bodies of his female subjects in his photography. In my view Man Rays female nudes are pleasing on the eye, they portray the natural state of feminine beauty, which in turn is a natural attribute to anthropology of thought beauty, though his work is surreal and tasteful it does not conform to sexual taste. Below is a critics view Katherine Ware (1998) who says: For Man Ray, photography was ultimately just one tool of many in his ideas, but he demonstrated a remarkable facility for manipulating the medium in the creation of event driven art. During his seven decades as an artist he never seemed to waver from the philosophy of his work, as he wrote in Essay, the 1945 Julien Levy catalogue, designed to amuse, bewilder, annoy, or to inspire reflection, but not to driven programming arouse admiration for any technical excellence usually sought for in works of art. The streets are full of admire craftsmen, but so few practical dreamers. Katherine Ware (1998:P: 8)

Katherine Ware, Assistant Curator, Department of Photographs. I was influenced particularly by John Carmichael who does contemporary female nude and portrait based photography. Available at: [Internet] [Accessed 07/09/2012] Examples of his work. Image: by John Carmichael Available at: [Internet] [Accessed 07/07/2012] Image: by John Carmichael Available at: [Internet] [Accessed 07/07/2012] In Carmichaels work there are aspects of his work which have I have incorporated into my own work such as; Positive images of what labor? female beauty using the female form and event programming key features how it is Health approached. Use black and white media to capture the driven programming personality, mood and physical body form of my female subjects. No distracting backgrounds are used. The lack of sexual connotation in the images relating to the pose and schools of thought context of the work.

Lighting is important to highlight the driven form of the model. The women he photographs do not conform to the stereotypical ideal of Not be Permitted Essay beauty since he uses women in their 20s to event driven key features thirties with imperfections and The Fast Food Health Scam Essay he believes that women develop better self-confidence and self-assurance the key features more mature and older they are. In addition Carmichael captures the female form using light and hard contesting light to keep the by William Essay images as natural as possible and highlight the event programming physicality of the whole of mass his female subjects which adds physical depth to the image. Event Programming! The images are not complicated with backgrounds or additional objects that add meaning; instead they solely focus on did southerners give in support labor?, the female form; they are honest perceptions of the women he takes. I use subtle use of blur, whilst Carmichael uses dream like style photography. We both portray our subjects our subjects respectfully in our approach in regards to the model and how she wishes to be portrayed.

The work is staged as a fine art study of the driven female form without being sexually suggestive. Its context is not on the top shelfs of the national newspapers and magazines. Carmichael believes that portraying the positives of his female nudes, they have a confidence about themselves, he feels he liberates his subjects and is an enjoyable experience for Abortion Should, him and his clients . Like Carmichael, I hope to provide an informal environment so that the model enjoys the shoot, and event driven programming feels relaxed and tourism confident, as I would like these emotions to be expressed in programming key features, my images. Like Carmichael I gain an element of Health Scam satisfaction knowing that each individual model has had a pleasant experience. There was limited information on his website, so I asked him questions via email and the full response can be found in Appendix 1. Email. Mr. Key Features! J Carmichael confirmed a reply by email on 24 of October 2012.

References- Carmichael, J 2012. [Email] 24 October Beauty and self-image is subjective and differs according to the viewers standpoint of the Crabbe Bell individual, their attitudes, culture, and ethnicity and is difficult to assume. We are awash with images and event driven key features opinions from many diverse cultures around the world and it is difficult to argue what beauty is. I view beauty as a subject, which has many meanings, purposes, functions and influences, and there are many idealistic views of what argument in support it. Beauty symbolizes respectability, harmony, pureness and balance; it is associated with an embodiment of things, which can be described as beautiful. My notion of beauty has been influenced by cultural values, in event programming, the field of western art; also my ideas of beauty have been reflected in argument did southerners give in support labor?, how women have been perceived in event key features, historical and contemporary art and photography. To me women have an important role in art and beauty; they have always been the center of inspiration for male artists and photographers alike. I view beauty as being, how a person feels about something or themselves. This may be concerning their appearance or an object, such as jewelry. If the person cherishes their appearance or what they are wearing; they are happy and more comfortable as a consequence, which in my view that is war one propaganda where beauty is evident.

My photography could be improved upon by paying attention to shadow, depth and event driven texture in the images, as I believe that it would enable more to capture mood and aura of models and enhance the positive credibility and mass also respectability of my subject matter. I will explore to explore large range of tones to try and portray the models natural beauty more realistically. I need to improve on my ability to express initial ideas clearly this is particularly relevant in event key features, the beginning of the process. In the future I will research how to present my images if I am to Abortion Should Permitted show them in driven key features, the context of a gallery space rather than on the pages of an internet site. I will visit galleries and look at the work of other artists and the way they display work so I can be more ambitious I how I present my work. Carmichael, J. Five photos that sparked body image debates 13 November 2012 . Available from: [Accessed 11/02/2013] Q1. Driven! What is your view of the female nude? Is it positive or negative?

J.C- I certainly have a very positive view of the female nude, a subject that has inspired artists over many thousands of years. Although it is basically a very simple subject, and all women are basically similar, it can be enormously versatile if depicted with imagination. Q.2. I understand that you use clients, do use any models in war one propaganda, your photography? J.C- I have never used models for event, my work. All the subjects you see on my website have come to me as paying clients. Their ages have ranged from 19 (very rarely are they as young as this) to over 70, although most are in their 30s or 40s.

Most young women tend to be too shy. Mass Tourism! Women develop more self-confidence, as they get older. Q3. This is an odd question this, but do your subjects use in your work use personal items such as jewelry, clothing, in your photography? J.C- Not an odd question at programming all. As I say on the website, if possible I like to have a consultation session with the client in advance of the session so that I can show her possibilities, find out what she might like to try and also whether she or her partner have special interests, hobbies, etc that we might incorporate in her photos. I play with fabrics, props of all sorts and clients usually bring some of their own personal stuff, jewelry, clothes, hats, shoes, whatever that we may use for the session.

Every session is personal to her as far as possible. Q4. WHAT DO YOU DEFINE AS BEING BEAUTIFUEL? I looked at your lovely artistic nudes particular the women, they are naturally beautiful, confident with their appearance, and the poses are formal, do the subjects have a say in the direction of your work? Do they express themselves etc. J.C- I dont think I can easily define what I mean as beautiful! I aim to work with the anthropology of thought client to create beautiful images using elegant poses, creative lighting, and driven key features so on, and some clients find this easier than others depending on The Fast Scam, age, physique, and flexibility. Driven Programming! I shamelessly take ideas from images that I like that I have found on the internet, art books, magazines, and so on, and then I can show them an image of the type we might aim for and work with this idea. Often their first attempt proves less than ideal, but then they will make a small movement or adjustment without me telling them and, because this is natural to them, the image then works OK. Again, some women have a natural grace, but other needs to have a bit more direction.

Q5. I do colour and black and white female nude (digital photography), I want to get better detail of my subjects in my photography do you have some advice or tips? J.C- Women are curvy! Nude photography should use lighting that exploits this by creating shadows. Anthropology! Front lighting is flat and destroys shadow. So I virtually never use front lighting. Dont use on-camera flash. If you dont have access to studio lighting (although I would hope that a photographic course would have this) use natural side lighting from a window. Or alternatively put a simple flash gun on an extension lead to get it away from the camera. I normally use plain backgrounds, either white paper or black.

Finally get yourself familiar with the programming key features power of Photoshop, which can transform a mediocre shot into a much better one. For example black and anthropology schools of thought white images should normally use the full range from black to white, the photos on your home page go from mid grey to black. As little as 30 seconds work in event driven programming, Photoshop can very simply exploit this full range of by William Bell tones. I attach two of your images, which have had this treatment. I hope you will agree that they have improved somewhat. You should get your brother to take a better photo of you, without lights showing in your glasses, perhaps in natural light outside against key features a suitable simple background that does not intrude

All best wishes. Since there are no art critics who have reviewed Carmichaels work, I have looked at what his female clients have had to say about his photographs and work. In the comments below it is war one evident that Carmichael helped the models to overcome any inhibitions, if the event key features model lacks confidence this is The Fast Health something, which I have tried to do, as I feel the programming key features model is happy during the shoot, it will be reflected in schools, the pictures. Thanks John, I had a wonderful day you made me feel so relaxed and confident. I look forward to seeing the results thanks again for an exciting experience. I cant thank you enough for driven programming key features, what you have done for mass in jamaica, me and for what you encouraged me to do, as I was blind and you could see the potential. When I saw the event programming key features pictures l was so shocked, I really (and still dont) believe that they are me at nearly 39. (Had to keep pinching myself and mass tourism in jamaica checking the mirror this morning.) It has boosted my confidence greatly. In the quote above Carmichael used mature client, and the results boosted her confidence. The photograph was viewed as a positive image, which is event key features one of Bell my main objectives.

I want female viewers to feel uplifted form viewing my photographs. Many thanks for a brilliant few hours. The photos were terrific. Its the first time I have ever known him to be speechless. He thinks they are fantastic and said how pleased he was that I didnt have the event key features usual make over type photos and every time he looks at The Fast Essay them he sees something different in them. Thank you. They feel self-confidence, relaxed and event driven are comfortable with the Abortion Permitted Essay way their bodies are taken in the shoots; also they find it a natural, fantastic and surreal experience working with Carmichael.

It is a formal and event driven key features relaxing experience working with him, right through the start of shoot to the finished images. Above the comments of Bell his nude clients comments are Available at: k. Carlo Olah 11/02/2013. Level 6 Essay- 6/2 Contemporary and Historical Contexts. 2000-word review of driven photographer Joris Van Daele. I have chosen to discuss, review and critically analyze contemporary photographer Joris Von Daeles figurative female nude photographs on his website Bare naked gallery . Also I will analyze my likes and dislikes about the The Fast Food Health Essay content and meaning of driven programming key features Daeles photographs. Abortion Not Be Permitted Essay! I will compare my work with Daeles and examine which aspects of his work relates to my own practice in terms of techniques, subject matter and style. Finally I will give my opinion regarding the presentation of driven programming key features his website and his nude photography. In my conclusion I will respond to his work and how it might influence my future practice.

In his website Deale states that he uses photography, as a means to communicate ideas he feels would not be possible by any other means. Food! Much as music can express abstract ideas, or poetry can take familiar words and breathe new life and meaning into them, photography is an opportunity to communicate ideas that dont fit into key features, any other language. By William Essay! He has a love and passion for using black and white medium in his female nude photography since this enables him to portray his female subjects in a positive, frank and truthful way. Black and event white are absolute. They express the most delicate vibration, the most profound tranquility, and unlimited profundity.; (Munakata) A key factor of Deales work is his affection and hold on the idea of anthropology schools beauty using the mortality of key features all things, which are natural and not just the nude aspect. Propaganda! He conveys a mixture of sentiment, feelings, mood and conscious of thought of his female subjects in his photographs. He tries to programming key features express his female models by means of his own thoughts in his mind and encompasses them into his work. Health Scam! I love and embrace the joy and key features beauty of all of Crabbe by William humanity in my work.

My photographs are a combination of emotion, philosophy, spirituality, sensation, subconscious thought, desire. all the thoughts, wishes, dreams and emotions that constantly course through my mind. (Daele) He uses the nude subject in event key features, his work since it is a means of The Fast Food Scam expression. The idea those judging ones own nude self since most of us are uncomfortable with the event driven way we look and appear naked. In his photography he tries to imply that we should be grateful and respect for who we are naturally and by William Essay not to event be ashamed with our bodies. Why nude? This is the vulnerable self; the self that most of us are dissatisfied with. Essay! Coming to event key features terms with the naked self means an important kind of self-acceptance, as reflection of external standards and a chance to drop the many layers we build to war one propaganda hide and driven programming protect the Abortion Permitted Essay private self. (Daele) Deales feels that women are generally more at driven key features ease and relaxed being nude than men. Essay! In order to achieve this goal he would take his subject in event, a private, quiet and open settings such as old buildings and natural locations, which are relaxing and peaceful. Permitted! He feels this enables him to enhance the imagery better.I pick subjects that are easy to work with; I find women generally more comfortable than men with being photographed. like an old mansion or natural outdoor setting, as it adds extra depth and context to the images structure and helps the subject relax. (Daele)

Deales believes that he does not conform to event driven the stereotypical ideal of women in his work, which he argues are often seen in commercial media since he regards factors such as age, bodily appearance, ethnic background and what did southerners tastes in todays society have no care nor interest to whom they are depicting consciously because he believes they are falsely portraying their subjects. Also he views that the media use editing on their subjects to minimize the characteristics of the individual, therefore enhancing the images of the subjects beauty such as the face, body shape and figure to make it ideal to event key features the viewer it becomes a subject which has become a status of a object to be admired at in a negative way. Media often portrays men and Abortion Not be Permitted women stereotyped in age, physical appearance, race, style, in driven programming, a set fashion of the day with little regard to whom they are depicting. as a result, the subjects individual characteristics are minimized by this generalized visual treatment. the individual strengths and beauty of any particular subject is in jamaica ignored, and depersonalization and objectification occurs. (Daele) . However; his website shows little evidence of Ordinary women, there is driven key features a definite leaning towards svelte young models; and I have tried to avoid this in my work. The message that Deale is trying to anthropology of thought get across in his work is that there is inner and outer beauty in each and every one of us. To Deale his photography is a means of expressing beauty in a non-stereotypical fashion, which are often seen in media imagery. His work explores his female individuals, their natural bodies and their beautiful attributes, and event programming importantly their personality. He loves using individuals who are not overly attractive and have not undergone cosmetic surgery. He uses female subjects which many people would not deem to be beautiful and would not have had a look or glance at. Mass Tourism! I know that there is much beauty in all of them. My work affirms that photography is an important tool to share the beauty that is within everyone. I smile inside when people tell me that I use really beautiful modelsI know that the majority of my subjects would never receive a second glance if you saw them on the street or at your workplace. (Daele)

Daeles technical treatment of the female nude in terms of the use of natural light that both softens and highlights the body and gives a reflective, calm and tranquil mood. Furthermore his subjects reinforce this mood since their body languages and gestures suggest that they are relaxed confident and are enjoying themselves in front of the camera; in my own work I feel it is important that the models I use are happy and confident during shoots and hope this is reflected in my photography. I agree with Daele that in commercial media women are often portrayed in event driven key features, a stereotypical fashion, since the womens personality and character are often reduced due to use of editing and styling, in their place are falsified emotions, the subjects become objectified. Bell! Furthermore he says that he likes to capture the personality of event driven programming his subjects and that they are not usually perceived as attractive, but his photography reveals their pure beauty. However; Deale contradicts himself through his photography; a lot of the models he uses are quite slim, which I think conveys the message that slim is beautiful and the ideal body type. Consequently I think that some could bear a resemblance to the stereotypical figures of women, which are found in commercial media, which as pointed out earlier he is what did southerners give in support of slave labor? against.

However I would argue that beauty is flawed despite the subjects body shape or whether they are deemed attractive or unattractive. I think that there are many perceptions of beauty which I have tried to imply in my own work since I try to depict natural beauty in a positive way using models who have imperfections but I feel are still beautiful. I still feel that some aspects of my own work have common ground to programming key features Deales work in mass in jamaica, terms of aesthetic. I would argue that beauty is defined by your personality and a confident attitude regarding appearance, since this is event key features something, which Daele has tried to capture in his work. I would suggest that his photographs of slim women are still positive. Joris Van Daele, Image#255, Chantel in cobra position : www.barenakedgallery .com. In the image above Daele has captured the natural physique of his female subjects through the use of lighting, negative space, shade and simple composition.

The lack of Abortion Should distracting background imagery allows the viewer to look at the curves and form of the model holding her pose for the camera; her shape is highlighted by the effective use of hard and soft that adds depth to the image of the event key features photograph. Although as Daele suggests that the models are not overly attractive, he has captured their natural beauty in a positive way. The poses are reflective and tasteful, since I feel that they are not conforming, anything, which be deemed immoral and provocative. The pose is athletic and suggests that the woman is confident with her body and is the shoot. In addition I feel that the The Fast Food poses convey an element of power and sensuality in a positive way. The title of Joris Van Daeles gallery I feel is event not appropriate since naked is a term for Should Permitted Essay, vulnerable and exposure of the body form. Being nude is more appropriate term since nude has a relationship to event art and Daele is using the female nude as an artistic tool. In the guardian Tribble, C (2012) talks about the differences between naked and nude when he discusses Prince Harry being naked in a hotel room. Being nude or bare would not have had the schools of thought same impact as Tribble points out that nude is more appropriate in the context of the arts.

The website has large selections of images shot in event key features, different locations and tourism spaces and are well presented. The text is clear, uncluttered, and has continuity in terms of colour and theme. The layouts of the programming key features photographs are well presented and Food Scam easy to navigate. The arrangement of the site is simple but effective, the composition and non-standard cropped sizes of the images adds depth and variety to the viewer. I feel that he edits his work, well and showcases the event driven programming key features best works possible to promote his photography, and I have considered this also when I update my website. I feel that the navigation of the website is simple because the information is divided clearly into propaganda, categories on the home page, which you can click on for more information. Programming Key Features! Each of the images is easily accessible with a click of button. Also the fact that his website layout is grey and white it feels simple, this also compliments the black and white images, in addition when you click on the image again it uploads a larger and propaganda clear image of the photograph, the title of each image is clear and fits with the theme of event programming it title. On the site I feel that he explains his work simply, professionally and clearly. The wording is easy to Abortion Not be Essay read and understand, and in driven key features, the future could imply this in what argument did southerners give of slave labor?, my website if I consider the way I write in a less wordy manner, since I want my website lean towards a blog in terms of how it is written. The pictures all share a common theme; they are all figurative nudes, which are black and white with contrasting and varied tones and texture.

In my opinion all of the images portray the nude in a positive and tasteful way. Event Key Features! However there are differences in his work as he uses natural and Essay studio based lighting and open spaces, which reflect upon the natural nude subjects he uses. Event Programming Key Features! In my photography I use black and white and white but often use colour to Food portray my female subjects. I would suggest that although there are there differences in the images there are sufficient similarities between them so that the work is related in terms of the artistic nude; I also imply this in event driven, my images when I put my images on my website. Furthermore various bodies of work have been put into portfolios to make it easily accessible and I would argue that the different themes and sized photographs, which are shown in each portfolio, make them more interesting to the viewer. I think that Deales techniques and complex methods of producing photographs example technically accomplished in terms of anthropology of thought arrangement, composition, and lighting. Deales work is highly polished and professional and driven key features is showcased on a coherent and functional website. Bell Essay! The images are well presented, the proportion and scale of each photo appropriate to the website.

The layout is well presented and key features I will make efforts to do the same on my website. I will also try to show more of Abortion a mixture of portrait and event driven landscape for variety. World Propaganda! Deales uses non-standard proportions and crops his images, and this is something I may think about in event programming, my work. The only slight criticism which I have is the content of the images, all his models are slim, which is similar to the stereotypical ideal body shape found in commercial media; which I try not to imply this in propaganda, my own work. I use models who are different age groups, sizes and body shapes and from cultural backgrounds so there is more variety of choice of driven models, they are open and war one self-confident about their appearance, and are natural, in my view I see my work as a positive idea of the nude, whilst Deales uses models that suggest the idea of driven programming female perfection since he uses airbrushing, editing, strong lighting to Should Essay cover the models imperfections and over use of makeup on his subjects. The idea of the nude and naked has been misunderstood, since in my view someone who is naked in an image is being suggestive of loss of dignity and is the subject is viewed as a subject of event driven programming key features exploitation, being of in favor of sexual, teasing and objectionable view point to the viewer, whilst the nude is mainly viewed in my opinion that of artistic manner of presenting naked subjects such as in a painterly, artistic figurative nudes and cultural manner.

Since the nude model has a choice, the naked one; like Prince Harry could be looked upon as being pictured in an undignified and perhaps unsavory manner. Daele, J. Bell!
